$180 + 12 CONUS shipping including kydex

This is a brand new model. It's my take on a barrel puukko shrunk down to a handy Sloyd-size for whittling and carving in camp. The tang is mostly hollow, which helps keep weight down and improve balance. I've put a more aggressive 10 degree per side scandi grind on the blade which really bites deep into wood. I much prefer the more aggressive grind for carving. The barrel handle shape and bead blasted micarta have an excellent feel. Give one a try!

grind: "pro" scandi @ 10 degrees per side
serial number: 4
blade length: 3″
overall length: 7 5/8″
steel: 0.1″ 80CrV2 @ 61 Hc
handle: bead blast black canvas micarta
hardware: copper pin and tube

sheath: includes kydex sheath only. Contact me if you want to add a belt loop or pocket clip for $10

I've been producing PL knives for the past 8 years. I've done leather work for over 20 and kydex for 5 years. The heat treat on all of my carbon steel knives is done by me in a thermostatically controlled Evenheat knifemaking kiln. Each 80CrV2 blade goes through a multi-stage normalization before being heated to austenitic temperature and quenched in Parks quench oil. Then it goes through a 2 stage tempering process. 80CrV2 Hardness is approx. 61 hc and my heat treat process produces a blade with extreme toughness and fine edge sharpenability. Scales are glued with West Systems G-flex epoxy. My aim is to produce heirloom quality tools with excellent craftsmanship that will provide a lifetime of enjoyment and service.
