Had this 707 since way back whenever they were first released. I was wondering if there is anything that can be done to restore these scales to something resembling their original color? I reached out to Benchmade a while back thinking they might have some spares but no such luck. Nobody makes custom scales for it anymore and I'm certainly not going to spend 300 bucks for another knife on eBay just to strip it for parts.
I know Way of Knife here in Michigan does anodizing but they can't or won't do aluminum. Even if they could, I would think the G10 inlays would be an issue. There's also Cerekote but I'm not sure if that's a good option and it would have the same issue with having to work around the inlays.
So, what are my options other than leaving it like it is?
