Martial Blade Concepts Street Skills Workshop
Noted author and instructor Michael Janich will present a two-day "Street Skills" seminar in Richmond, CA on 13-14 September. This seminar--which will be Janich's last public seminar in the U.S. during 2008--will present a comprehensive sampling of his integrated system of personal defense. It will include critical knife skills from his MBC curriculum, counter-weapon skills from the Counter-Blade Concepts (CBC) system, and empty-hand and improvised-weapon tactics from Janichs Damithurt Silat and Sobadiwan Eskrima systems. A special feature of this seminar will be a critical focus on improvised-weapon tacticsincluding the combative use of the tactical flashlightand the integration of empty-hand and contact-weapon tactics with the use of the handgun.
