9 1/2 in. O.A. Wrought Iron Hot blued guard. 5 in. 1095 blade.

I can tell by your frankness you have come across my photo in the mugshots thread. Not much to look at, but I still have hair. I made this knife for a young friend thats headed for Iraq the 26th of Sept. I hope it travels safely. Fred

Hey Mike, I used an O.A. torch to apply heat to the blade. Just painting with the tp until I liked the looks of it , then quenched the whole blade. Fred
 
Thanks John, This knife is in Iraq with a young friend. I built it for him while he was home on leave. Fred
