yes it was what he gave the kid and merl had one on his arm weapon i think
 
they were even old manufacture. The one he had was bead blasted and had a beveled butt cap. They stopped doing that 7 years ago or so.
 
Yeah I saw it too...The funky shaped pommel was what gave it away to me.

tfields, pretty sure Merle had something else. Not watching the ep. right now but I'm pretty sure his was a wooden handled blade. Looked like an Ontario quartermaster or some kinda bayonet.

Yeesh, that's some vintage steel...Maybe he should replace it with one of those funky grivory ice scrapers you guys will be putting out. Suppose it might come in handy too for flipping burgers at one of the Governors BBQs...Undead meat...Tasty. Might even still be a little bit of buckshot left in mine.
