Pics of fish, gear, or anything relevant is welcome!

So post'em up:thumbup:

My first 3+lb bass of the season

place reserved....

i WILL go fishing this year. And I will post a picture of Crappiedile Dundee aka Craapzilla (the 3lb crappie i caught in my farm pond that I released).

Ill be a regular contributor here. My first pic. A sucker caught with a Quantum 1310 and 7.5 foot Kunan rod.The combo is not pretty but has reeled in hundreds of pounds of hard pulling fish. Will cast a one ounce weight forever.

Ohhh, the gauntlet has been thrown down. It will be a couple of weeks but I will be back!

edited: I forgot that I had gone trout fishing with my son and a friend and his boys back in January. We had to hike awhile to find water that was not iced over but we still had an okay day.

Here's how I've been doing most of my fishing lately. Just catching small bass, bream, and cats mostly. A few freshwater drum too.

I agree. This should be made a sticky, especially as we'll all have the rest of this year to continue to contribute to it.

Here's a few of mine from this year to date:

Milani, Nce haul there bro! Those are hybrids right, Whipers??

Mick, about time you showed up! I always look forward to your pics!

Thanks Tony. Striped Sea bass that migrate in fresh water twice a year like Salmon. Great tasting too!
I caught a few small mouthers a few weeks ago that were about 18 inches. Wish I had taken a pic. They were nice. Man I want to go out this week end.

Stripers are great eating and a joy to catch!

Looks like some of those are hybids though.

Other than a Striper being more streamlined, you can also tell by the actual stripes. The stripes are more fluent in a Striped bass, shile more dotted and patchy in a Hybrid. The hybrids are a cross between Striped bass and White bass, often called Sunshine bass or Wipers!

Either way, I bet they were a hell of alot of fun to catch:thumbup:

Not a big one, but the first of the year.
Good fun on LMB tackle too.

Yep. That looks spot on. I am kinda new to the area and thats what I get for taking the word of the "locals". They are a ton of fun to catch. I really want to go to Guntersville and catch some LM Bass. Lots of tourney's seem to occur there so maybe even I can catch one!

Some snails from this past weekend.

We arent allowed to fish with rod and reel yet, but we are allowed to spear. The fish is a cabazon. They have blue meat and are great eating
