Here's one I recently finished up, it is made from .360 thick 5160 steel stock and handmade Shadetree Custom Composites Glow Burlap "Glo-J" scale material. The burlap glow scale material is super comfortable and grippy, it also glows green in the dark!

It's a little over a foot long with 6" of sharpened edge. There's plenty of weight forward for some nice chopping action.

ah figured as much using the screen and a tape, I guessed this was a 12" piece of stock and the edge is JUST over 6" of cutting. I need to look at the pirates sword again. I am focusing on 8"+ cutting... how goes the wakichete? *yawn* screwdrivers tonight now onto expresso stout.. I'm pooped
