I recently bought a NRA Steigerwalt 12400 and it arrived with significant blade play. When closed, it moves easily inside the handle. With just minor jostling, the blade audibly clicks back and forth against the steel liners. It's not quite that bad when open, but there is still detectable blade play side to side and a bit up and down. I am currently in the process of the seller ordering me a replacement, but if that one has this as well, then what are the options?
I really like the design and blade shape. Is it possible to send it to someone on here or elsewhere that can perhaps fix the blade play or alter the handle into an adjustable one? Or hell, even fix up a new handle that is adjustable?
