Aluminum or Brass

I had a chance to hold a Brass WWII this weekend and really liked it! But I may prefer the aluminum WWII. Does anybody have these models? What do you think? Seems to me that they would be more durable than the horn handles.

I'm partial to the aluminum handles. Push comes to shove, probably a bit more durable, as it's solid aluminum, as opposed to the brass, which is a thick outer layer of brass with Laha inside it (thus prone to denting).

Hi Gregory,
I have a WWII with an aluminium handle, and it is just beautiful. Personally, I wouldn't go for brass because it causes a strange allergic reaction on my skin, also I think it makes my skin smell, well, nasty.
Have you considered silver? Perhaps not all silver, maybe a black horn handle with silver mounts and inlays?
If you need someone to spend your money for you, I'm your man!
