Am I The Only One?

Am I the only one that likes Tantos? I guess I was influenced by Emerson knives years ago, don’t know why, but I really liked the style. I keep thinking that I should make a fixed blade version of the CQ7, but I don’t know how popular it would be. Thoughts and opinions would be appreciated.

I am not a fan of the angular American style tanto.
I am a fan of the Japanese style tanto, probably because it is highly reminiscent of a leuku/puukko shape.
I also like the kiridashi type knives, but prefer the double bevel version, not the single bevel/chisel ground ones.

I made a Japanese style tanto for my brother years ago, with both sides ground. The picture seems to have disappeared.

For many years my edc was a Cold Steel Tanto. I traded it away and have regretted it countless times since.

I think the Japanese ground tanto with a two sided grind is more appealing.
