Hi everyone :)

I've been away for a while for various reasons but here is what I have been up to:

Round knife sheath (horse hide), turned out a bit crooked but its for personal use so as long its functional its ok for me.

Key case for a friend, I used a softer part of the latigo side to make it more pliable when using it but it backfired as the stamping stretched the leather disproportionally. I will use a tougher part of the leather for stamping in future.

Now that the coy sun is finally out I needed a tan belt to go with my summer shoes!

Please let me know what you think. Thanks for reading! :)

Thanks Bill and Horsewright! :)

The round knife is Al Stohlman's. If you're thinking of buying one though you might want to ask Dave if you can buy one of his. His one has a nice asymmetric pointy head that looks much easier to do a hairpin curve. It's a feature I wish I had after using my current one.

Kaizo on the roundknife sheath. Do you have a belt sander? Just a very light touch after stitching, on the belt sander would even out those warbles/unevenness. Then edge and rub as normal.

Ah I haven't tried that yet! I bought one for knife making but its been collecting dust more than my vacuum cleaner. I'm making a sheath at the moment so I'll give that a go now. Thanks for your help again :)

It worked! Thanks Dave! :)

The knife is a Busse Active duty battle grade. Its a nice handy companion knife to have :)

Good deal and its not too late on the roundknife sheath either although ya might have to re edge. anytime two or more layers come to gether I sand.
