Antiqued Hawk

This is my representation of an old hawk I found while leafing through one of my museum reference books and liked it so here it is;

Head; carved and file worked,forged 1084 steel, with a patinas acid etched blade. Head measures 5 1/4inch overall lenth, Blade 3 1/4, Bit 2 3/4.

Handle; 18 inch tiger maple, carving is of two braves paddling a canoe.

Weight;1lb 1.4 ozs

That is awesome. Any story on the original? Can we see some pics of it, too?
 
Ya know, I think I like yours better. With out a smoking bowl on it it's just pure business. :thumbup: :thumbup:
