Anyone ever make a karambit mod on a CLB Subcom/Subclaw?

I was playing with the idea of attaching a ring handle extension to the pommel of my CLB Subclaw to make a folding karambit out of it and I remember seeing a lot of Subcom mods on the Boker forum before, so I just wondered if anyone ever tried it.
I got the idea when I saw someone marketing a similar device for the Waved Spyderco Delica, but I figured it would work even better with a three finger folder. With a wave opener, I think it could be a pretty nasty little piece.

I have a Subclaw, and it is a handy little bugger. I used to have a fob on the end made of shock card and metal beads that formed a ring, and it worked very well for deploying and retaining the knife. I don't know about an actual extension though--the great thing about Subclaw is how the size makes it easy to carry, and adding to the bulk made it a bit redundant to a bigger knife. The blade has so little mass, cutting into it to make a wave would mean you would really have to hit it hard to open. Maybe one of those 3d printed widgets in the stud hole would do the trick. I picked up one of the Wise Men rings and put it into a Kahr Delica, but it makes the handle so long it is a little comical. However, I think you are totally right that it would work better with a small folder, but I really like the Subclaw. Now if only Boker would make them again.....

Yes, it would make it a bit bigger of course. I'm planning on making a stainless steel ring device that you can easily attach and remove with chicago screws, so you can use it either way you want. About making a wave, I wouldn't cut into the blade, I'd have to redo the thumb ramp from scratch and replace it with some sort of epoxy contraption. I pretty much have it all figured out. If I get around to making it, I'll get back to this thread (I have a couple of projects going on right now).
