There’s nothing quiet like hooking on to a Bull Red and being in a fight, much less 6 of those bad boys. No doubt you’re wore out.
Damn straight it’s worth it 😆

The Reds were all to big to keep, outside of the slot size here in Floreeduh.

With big Reds like that, there’s a lot of the dark red meat that is strong tasting. I‘ll throw away the red meat and keep the white meat. It’s still a lot of meat. And the scales on those big monsters can wear out a electric filet knife.
It’s fun as hell to catch them, but its work to clean them. Now a days, I don’t want to clean one that size.

Compounded by the fact we were fishing close to pier , and had the drags locked down to keep them outta the pylons.
I've caught a lot of big fish in my time, but these reds pound for pound outclass most if not all of them.

I got invited on a Charter trip outta Sebastian Inlet this weekend. The same area the above fish were caught.

I caught 2 Reds ( Season is closed )
And a Snook 27 inches. 1 more inch and it was gonna be dinner.
