With big Reds like that, there’s a lot of the dark red meat that is strong tasting. I‘ll throw away the red meat and keep the white meat. It’s still a lot of meat. And the scales on those big monsters can wear out a electric filet knife.The Reds were all to big to keep, outside of the slot size here in Floreeduh.
Compounded by the fact we were fishing close to pier , and had the drags locked down to keep them outta the pylons.There’s nothing quiet like hooking on to a Bull Red and being in a fight, much less 6 of those bad boys. No doubt you’re wore out.
Damn straight it’s worth it
