I think that many of us here know from reading past posts...that both 'FLA' and 'FL' stamps are used on SS RMK's.

These blade stamps are both the large and small versions, and this since roughly 1984. Usage is simply dependant on which stamp is picked up for use by the maker any given day; at random, and pertains to all RMK SS blades...

That much is known, and as such is a given...

So, my question is this 'Has anyone seen, or does anyone reading this own, a O1 'high carbon' tool steel RMK, of any size or type...that has the 'FL' stamp?'

Anyone?

"Appreciate yer hep", as they say down south...

There is no such animal from the Randall shop, as that stamp does not exist. The FLA.-FL. stamp mistake concerns only the stainless stamps. This info from the top (GR). Actually had Scott go through the stamps and check them just now, January 14, 2003 10:00 am. //// Rhett Stidham

Thanks for checking Rhett!

So, as far as anyone 'in the know' knows, there are no legitimate O1 'high carbon' tool steel blades with the 'FL' stamp, as produced by RMK...good info!
