Bright Plated Jet Pilot Survival knives

The question recently came up as to when Camillus started selling the Bright plated version of these knives. One fellow has one dated 1968 on the pommel. When did you guys start this and was it for commercial sales only or also to the government?

I'm trying to find out for you. We have made some POLISHED 1095 carbon bladed pilot's survival modles in the last few years[discontinued now] but we MAY have made some plated versions earlier. I dunno yet, but I got somebody working on it.

The polished was for commercial sales, and the plated was probally for government sales. I'll find out what I can....
