This a large recurve blade forged from 5160 12 1/2" long , 2 1/4" wide
The guard is SS 416 ,The handle is African blackwood 18" overall.
Its a great cutter, I'll try it out at the piney woods hammer-in cutting challenge.Oct 27 -28. Shawn Ellis J/S

Keith, the hammer in will have a open class, you can use just about anything.
Nick, I know the pictures are very poor. I'll try to post some better pictures

This is the knife that I used to win 1st place at the piney wood hammer in. It performed out standing went through a 2 x4 in 6.2 seconds. And the extra 2 1/2" on the blade realley helped cutting the swinging gallon jug of water. I had a great time and met alot great people.
