I have a Cold Steel hawk with a similarly long handle. Going to shorten it an inch at a time til I hit the Sweet Spot

Of course. Then I'll carve a new handle to the correct length, keep the short 1 for a spare. That's what I like about tomahawks, easy to carve a replacement handle in the woods

I have 2 handles for my Norse hawk one shorten . I think it is around 12 inches. I can't get to it to measure right now because I am on crutches and it's upstairs

The short one is 13.5 the other one is standard 22 that cold steel provides . Short one works for camp chores
