Carbon of Stainless Razor?

hey guys, i have a few old razors. i'm sure once i get into this i'm gonna take off with it and want something more specific once i know what i'm doing/talking about.

what do you guys prefer? carbon or stainless blades? i can imagine the reasons, just like any blade, easier to sharper carbon but wears quicker right?
now with the attention you're giving, and with the type of work its using, can stainless handle the job without being too tough to deal with? thanks guys

I make mine out of both. I prefer stainless unless I'm making a damascus razor. Neither are too hard to work with.
