i just bought this knife. haven't even received it yet.

has anyone seen a boker like this? i cannot wait to see what she looks like in person. looks like a 3 1/8" blade. i don't think it is a custom handle, but i can't tell.

input?

The blade looks like a Boker Delta's. I second the idea it's a custom, I don't remember seing this kind of handles at any Boker knives.

after doing some lengthy research i have found that this knife was made possibly back in 1994 by boker.

it was a pretty expensive boker back then. sweet.

I really like that knife. But how robust would a ceramic blade be for EDC? How would you sharpen it?

some here say it is fine, some say don't.

it can't be dropped, the blade will shatter. you cannot pry with it, use it as a screwdriver, etc..

if you carry to cut paper, tape, save your life, etc. it will be fine. if you do break the blad you can send it to boker for replacement. no idea on that cost. you can also send the blade to boker if it needs sharpening. $15

more nice pics...
