In the past, I've posted a lot of information threads in the Traditional sub-forum, eg http://www.bladeforums.com/threads/the-dairy-maids-of-porter-brook-part-1.1229530/
I've noticed that the recent changes have altered the punctuation of old threads, so it now reads like gobbledegook, eg (from the above article):
"When war is proclaimed, our masters quickly cry,
“Orders countermanded,” our goods we all lay by;
Your prices we must sattle and you’ll be stinted too –
There’s few suffer such hardships as we poor grinders do."
(There doesn't seem to be a quotation box option anymore ).
Presumably, all pre-existing threads are affected.
Is there an easy way of correcting these posts, or removing the changes? In cases where the posts are longer than what is now permitted, or where they contain a lot of photographs, it's not possible to edit the posts at all. Even where editing is possible, it would be a long and laborious process, particularly when quoted sources, references, etc have to be re-checked because they are no longer intelligible.
Thanks
Jack
