What are your opinions on Cold Steels Throwers: knives, tomahawks, torpedos, ect.

I recently purchased a set of 5 of the new throwing knives "pro flyte" models at 14 inches over the internet for $14.95 each. I needed a cheap set for training where I do not care if they get smashed up, lost or otherwise treated badly. They are a good buy for the money. My opinion:

1. length is OK at 14 inches
2. thickness is thin at 1/8+ inch. But this is light enough for training smaller, younger or the faint of throwing.
3. edges need to be filed back as the stamped knife blanks were not finished to this degree and could cause blisters or rough spots on the hand after repeated throwing
4. the hardness is a little on the soft side as I have carved some good sized burrs off with another knife

But for the money, I would recomment getting a set of at least 3 or more
