Colonial folder, age????

I cleaned up this Colonial folder, I got it in a coffee can several years ago. Now I'm clean up some of those old purchase and trying to find some history on them. My research hasn't been very productive. The small bolsters and the material of the handles suggest that it has some age to it. However, I'm not finding much. Ah, I need more reference material. The main blade is marked Colonial, over Providence, over RI (Rhode Island) The knife is approximately 3 1/4 inches long. It's condition is rough...
