Not sure if you are aware but CO (Colorado) is attempting to repeal the switchblade/automatic knife law. It currently is sitting on the governor's desk for a signature after passing in the Senate and house of representatives and if you could call or email the Governor and ask him to sign the bill we may be able to rid ourselves of this archaic law.

If you need more info send me a private message.

This is great, moving to Colorado Springs in May. Too bad they have a 3.5 inch length law. Won't be able to carry my super commander anymore :grumpy:

Unless you are carrying it for a hunting or fishing knife and you use that as an affirmative defense then there is no length limits. But yeah, if your wanting to use it as an edc then the 3.5 blade limit will be in effect.

The blade can be any length unconcealed.

3.5 and below are not considered "concealed weapons"

I've always considered an inanimate object like a knife just a knife. My understanding is said object isn't a weapon until utilized as such.
But I'm not a bloody politician.
