Here is one heading for the UP of MI. It is a bit longer and has a more drop in the point vs. my orig. Woodsman. It sports a 8" cutting edge where as the orig. has a 7".
I also tried something new for a firesteel loop. I placed it on the top portion of the dangler. The sheath has not been waxed yet, which is why it is lighter in color than my normal sheaths.

I hope Mike doesn't mind the title of this post:)

That's an impressive looking piece of steel. Really nice Nick. The fire steel loop on the dangler seems like an improvement to me as well.

You really out did yourself!!! I can not wait to have that with me in the cedar swamps bow hunting next month!I love the title of this post. That is definetly a Yooper camp knife!!!
