asap after arrival, I get a couple of 8" long hunks of 3/4" PVC pipe. grind, file or whittle down some hard plastic "plugs" for either end of the pipe, and use epoxy to mount the semi pointed plugs in each end of the pvc, with plastic or nylon cross pins. fill the pipes with sand, for weight, and make IWB sheath for wear under a t shirt. Semi point means you wont stab your hand or your gut with it in violent encounters as you draw. Double point means 2x the chance of sticking it in an attacker and the sand's weight means that if you throw it with vigor, it will hurt him plenty, as long as you get a solid hit. Non-metallic, of course, to keep you out of trouble if you stumble thru some problem place that is un-beknownst to you at the time. you can carry the (unshaped, unassembled) materials in hold baggage (minus the sand, of course)

Ever so clever. Nevertheless, Bladeforums is dedicated to keeping our members out of fearsome foreign dungeons. In support of this, we disallow recommendations of illegal activities. This seems to fall in the forbidden category.

To put it simply, carrying a common illegal knife is not a great idea, but carrying this, is asking for a psychiatric remand.
