As the title indicates, it's time to play DOG POOP BINGO. :D

My pigeon pen yard is roughly 24 feet wide by 40 feet long. Using 2 ft x 2 ft squares, that provides for 240 squares, so that allows for 240 entries.

Contest rules::

1) This contest is open to any PAYING member. That means BASIC, GOLD, PLATINUM, KNIFE MAKER, SERVICE PROVIDER or DEALER. Sorry Registered members, but this is for those who monetarily support the forum to keep it going.

2) International PAYING members are welcome to enter, but must pay for international shipping. I'm springing for the domestic shipping, but International Shipping will not be paid for on my end. An International entrant winner is responsible for any import fees, taxes, etc. If a winning International entrant's country's Customs service confiscates the knife, that's on them, not me.

3) The entrant is, by entering, affirming that it would be legal for them to possess the below specified knife where they live.

4) No chatting - chatting belongs in the Kabar Chat thread.

How to enter:

1) Post an "I'm In" along with a Bingo Square selection from the grid below.
2) If you are a Kabar Krew member, you get a bonus entry - make ANOTHER post, again with an "I'm In"
"Kabar Krew #xx" and then your bonus grid entry.
3) If you are a Beckerhead, you get a bonus entry - make ANOTHER post, again with "I'm In", "Beckerhead #xxx" and your bonus grid entry.

If you are a PAYING member of Bladeforums, you get an entry.
If you are a Kabar Krew, you get an entry.
If you are a Beckerhead, you get an entry.

So 1,2 or 3 entries are possible. You must have a Kabar Krew and/or Beckerhead number at the time you register your bonus entries. If you achieve either status before the contest closes AND grid spaces are still available, you may make a bonus entry at that time.

The contest will end the day after ::

- all grids spaces are claimed
or
- I hit 3500 posts
or
- 01 November 2015, which ever situation occurs first.

How will the winner be determined? On the day of contest winner selection, I will measure, in feet, the X-Y coordinates of where my Red Heeler poops out in the pigeon pen. I will use that grid reference to determine the winning entrant. If she happens to produce "a liner", where part of her poop is in one square and part in another, the square that has the largest amount will be declared the winner. He she happens to drop "a spread pattern", the winning square will be the one in which the first nugget falls. If, on the day of the drop, she manages to hit an unclaimed space, the closest claimed space will be declared the winner.

The Prize::

First off, it was going to be a KaBarley bottle opener, Kabar model 9907.

But Guyon beat me to it on a Give-Away for a KaBarley.

The KaBarley is still part of my Give-Away, but now I'm going to sweeten the pot. The prizes are the aforementioned KaBarley AND an older used Kabar 1207. It's used but in good condition, not a piece of junk about to fall apart. Some people call them "RARE" on fleabay, but I have several, so one of them will get a new home.

The 1207 is a stacked leather handle hunting knife with a 6" BL, 11.5" OAL from the late 1960s through the 1970s. I will add a pic after I dig the knife out of the tub it is in out in the shop.

So below is the infamous GRID. The letter/number combinations are in a nice, neat format for tracking purposes. I have already randomly assigned combos to a spreadsheet grid to prevent skewing the winning choice by being a periphery dump, since my dogs tend to poop 90% of the time along the edges of the pigeon pen. The combos here are GREEN until claimed by an entrant. I will modify each combo to RED as they are claimed. This is the purpose for requiring a separate entry post for each entry.

And I just want to add that this is sheer genius...

I'm in: K7

A local group tried to decide a raffle using a cow, but for some reason the cow didn't seem to be interested in doing her part, and after waiting around for an hour or two they finally gave up on the cow and decided it another way. Maybe cows are less predicable than dogs....
