Quick question

I ordered the new Doug Ritter / Becker Collaboration instead of getting a regular BK2. Now I cant figure out something, the Doug Ritter version on knifeworks states it is made out of 1095 instead of 1095CV. Any idea why the change in steel?

Its being made by Rowen, not Kabar. Ritter/Becker Collab, with Knifeworks being th exclusive dealer. Kabar is the only company making fixed blades out of 1095CV as far as I know. I done Goggle searches and everytime, Kabar pops up. Just how Shon Rowen rolls, I guess. Won't be a damn thing wrong with that blade though, for sure, its a great design, and a great knife maker, bet on that.
