Recommendation? DOURIS CHASTEL "LE PIONNIER"

Never owned one but they look sturdy and well made with a rather good value for buck. :)

Looks very useful. I like the steel.
I've found 12C27 to be very reliable. Easy to get sharp and keeps a good edge.

Here's the cleaned up look:

The last two pictures show the interesting design for this knife. It has a single spring for three tools. The knife and corkscrew operate on the same line, but the can opener has been fitted in with a spacer that also serves as the resting spot for the main blade, and the main blade has been bent slightly to accommodate the can opener. It create a big gap between the liners and the tools, which is a bit weird and was a little unsettling at first. I did peen the bail pin a bit because it was a bit loose and is the pivot pin for the can opener. The knife has a few dings on the wood and backspring from being dropped, but the blade has plenty of life left and is very sharp now. Everything locks up solidly and the actions is pretty good too. I'd say I got a good deal for a $30 chance.

Thanks, Alan. Now I just need a babysitter and a good weather day so I have a chance to take my wife on a picnic (and use my knife to open wine, cut cheese, and open a can of something)!
That sounds wonderful
