Duak stone sharpener

Hi Guys,
I saw a sharpener here awhile back that had 2 stones one on either side. the knife blade sat inbetween the 2 stones blade up. What you then did was move the stones up the edge of the knife alternating your strokes .
First one side then the other.

Anybody know if it workes. I believe it was pricey !
