That’s an old Pocket Kephart

I will another device, maybe it will let me change the size. But basically it was the pocket Kephart small stubby blade and a a stubby handle that fills the hand, much like the size of a Mora Eldris. Just for quick cuts while outside is what I remember I was told.

Was it just designed for a quick cut knife for small tasks? It grew on me, not big enough for kitchen work but for cutting line, or shaving a tent stake or stick for s’mores and winnies. That sounds good this weekend, winnies, beans and s’more. Will need some wipes for that meal!! campfire meals.

I do carry a fixed blade daily.

I go in long periods.

I used to EDC one or two Busse small fixed blades. And a few slipjoints

Then I had a period with only modern folder and a few slipjoints.

Then I sold off my Busse and started carying custom made fixed blades. I just decided why carry production, when I have customs??

Then I made a few my self. Now I have to decide if I want to carry some one else's customs or my own.
