Hey SURVIVORS!

I wanted to share some of my favorite S! videos and see some of yours as well. I have some others in mind, but I'll give y'all a chance first
Link some vids, people!

EDIT: Karoi got me thinking, if you're into youtube, what channels are you subscribed to? Tell us!

To get you warmed up.

This is what sold me, I just had to get my hands on one. GT is how I ran across Guys videos and what led me to this to start my unnatural addiction with survive knives.

I think I've watched those GSO 5 videos by Gideon Tactical 20 times each in the past few months!

Ha! Very nice. This channel was one of the only ones that was featuring the 5. At the time everyone else seemed preoccupied with the 4.1 and 10.

As I think I said in another post, the 5 is the sweet spot for me (actually 5.1 is what I own). Today I was fetching out the rounds I cut yesterday, and must have gotten the 5.1 out on four different ocasions to de-limb small trees that make a path from the downed and bucked tree to my ATV trailor. It goes through the green stuff like butter, and I forget it is in my belt when working. I also used it to chop a dead 3 in. sapling that was in my way with no problem at all. Just a great all around blade.

Right on, man. People definitely have different ideas of a one tool option. Of course the 10 (and the 8) have this purpose in mind, but my hope has always been that the 5 (I'm not a choil fan...) would be a more conservative jack of all trades. Your experience seems to agree!

Fire and steels gso 10 video is cool.

Yeah! Those guys are cool and they really seem to understand and value Guy's work. At first I was a little weirded out by their intro and casual, rambling style, but I did end up liking what they're doing.

I'll have to put links in for their 10 and 4.1 reviews!

EDIT: I'm a man of my word :)

I've seen a couple of their videos and enjoyed them too. I hadn't seen some of these others so thanks for posting!

I really like how honestly Guy puts his stuff out there. Stuff gets chips and breaks when put through all sorts of abuse - seen that with any knife no matter the maker. What's cool is that I can barely fathom a genuine survival or emergency situation which would call for the level of destruction/abuse that Guy demonstrated when the knives actually did fail - which means these are blades you really can trust in real life.

I forwarded that repelling video to anyone I thought was even remotely into knives When Guy first uploaded it. I'm pretty sure I had just ordered my first Survive! Knife and not too long after I ordered a 4.1, 5.0, and 10. It's great to see company's like Survive! finding success (from a lot of hard work of course). It's even greater to be able to own and carry such a great piece of gear. I have no doubt that my Daughter will some day own several well used Survive! Knives.

Fresh from the oven! I'm posting this here before even watching it. I like this guy and his channel. He's supported Guy for years.

He must have ordered a 5 when we all did and his just got in. I really never thought I'd be seeing a new 5 review!

Yeah I've seen his stuff before and like it as well - thanks for posting it. Still waiting on my 5 shipment notification!

I should link some more of the Blackscout Survival/SURVIVE! videos.

When did you order your 5? Ellie updated the production page to say they're still working through orders made on 4/29.

I actually got my shipping noticed late yesterday! So I should be receiving my package on Saturday! I'd ordered only like an hour or so after the e-mail came out that they were available, but it took me a while to put my orders in (did separate 5 and 4.1 orders).
Now if my 5.1 order email would come :) I know we still have a while for those though
