I have a "tickler" style folder with yellow scales and an inset hook sharpener....no scaler. The blade is chisel ground.
I am interested in when it might have been made and in what numbers.
Thanks

Brian,
We stopped producing that knife in the mid 80s I think.
It was produced for about 50 years prior to that!
I would need more info to narrow down your vintage (blade stamps/material, method of fastening handle etc)
Hope this helps.

Thanks for the reply.....
I bought it new in the late 80s so it is, probably one of the last produced.
Blade is stamped "CAMILLUS" over "STAINLESS" over "USA" on the obverse. The reverse is simply marked with the numeral "5"
scales are of a synthetic yellow material. The only pin is the centre pivot for the backspring.
Liners are brass and bolsters look like nickel silver. The blade pivot is flush with the bolsters.
