The contemporary Sheffield cutlers are wary of blade stamp for the same reason. I guess, in the past, when blade stamps were common, blades were forged, but I have seen plenty of stamps applied to stock removal blades, without warping :thumbsup:

Worth remembering that this compact knife is offered with a variety of blades: Clip, Spear, Sheepfoot, Drop-Point and Wharncliffe plus 2 blade versions & long bolster 'Barlow' types -as shown by Pt-Luso Pt-Luso above. Very tidy in all forms, time for some more please GEC.
