Zoe was working in his shop making Damascus and somehow he got his hand caught in the rollers of his rolling mill. He lost 3 of his fingers to the first knuckle on his right hand. His wife said he put a tourniquet on his arm and drove himself to the local hospital where he was life flighted to a hospital in VA where they tried to reattach his fingers but could not because there was too much damage. he is at home now and in a lot of pain but on meds to keep him as comfortable as possible
