I had seen the knives by Quest Custom Knives in the FOR SALE BY MAKERS section here and wasn't real thrilled, they were just not my style... until I saw the Kaiwian he posted. I loved the knife but wanted a slightly different blade shape. I contacted Greg and he came up with a few choices for a different blade shape. I ordered two with the shape we both thought would be the best wharncliffe, I should have them Saturday. CPM-154 blades, 6/4 titanium handles.

Here are the pics he sent me of the finished knives... I'll post my impressions when they arrive... I think they'll be the perfect EDC.

The two knives arrived last Saturday. They looked great. Flipped perfectly, fast, no wrist action necessary, and they felt just right... until I put pressure on the back of the blade. They both closed with only moderate pressure. I was quite disappointed.
I emailed Greg and explained the situation. He told me to send them back and he would modify the lock.
Just got them back today and I am quite pleased, nice solid lock-up.
One goes in the safe, the other in my pocket.
Oh yeah, Greg enclosed $20 to cover my return shipping. Very nice gesture.
