Help with any information on this "found" KaBar.

Kabar, Single blade, coke bottle handle
My step son found this KaBar in an old tool box while cleaning out his Gfather's house. Any help with how to clean it up or ID of how old it is would be appreciated[url=https://imgur.com/zx9MCIE][/URL]

It is a pre-WW2 "coke bottle" knife. Not earlier than about 1923, when Union Cutlery started using the "KABAR" stamp and not later than the start of WW2, when "OLEAN, NY" started appearing on some stamps. Most likely, late 1920s to mid-1930s. Someone may be able to narrow that range down based on catalog descriptions of handle materials used.
