52100 high carbon steel
Heat treated to Rc 58-60 which is right for great edge holding and easily sharpened with a few swiped on a butcher's steel
Flat grind to the spine with a very slight convex
Figured maple handle that has been stabilized and dyed ( it shows a little pink but I was shooting for red)
Distal tapered tang with natural Micara liners
Overall length: 9 1/2 inches
Cutting edge: 5 inches
