Anyone know the type and size used on a 3" XM-18? My bifocals won't focus that far down. :(

I've owned one of each size of that folder and I am pretty sure they are 2-56 screws used in the clip. 99.9% thats what they are and they are button head type screws.

Torx. T6 as I recall. Wrench size or type matters very little though as any 2-56 will still fit just get the button head type.

Its probably a T8 then.

Some screws are bigger. Some are T5 but on a knife that stout I doubt seriously if Rick would use a T5.

T8 is probably the right one.

If I remember right, the one I picked up at Blade last year had .050 allenhead screws in the clip... tiny little buggers. The only bit I had in the house to swap the clip with was in my Leatherman bit kit.

.050 allen it is. Went to the hardware store earlier and found one. Got lucky and paid 64 cents without having to buy a 20 piece set. Thanks tique.

Wiha tools is the best source for small drivers, those are the ones you don't want to strip they are just a bugger to get out.
