This knife was conceived and initiated by Eric Bajoy, Vice-President of Benchmade Knife Company, in 1990. It was a project that used only the finest materials of the time. The skeletonized handles are of a latchless design, machined from titanium bar stock. The holes are beautifully counter-sunk and the chamfers are highly polished. The pivot pins are custom made and broached with hex heads. The WeeHawk blade, optional ATS34 steel and so marked, is a thing of exquisit beauty and signed by it's maker, Jody Samson. All in all, it's everything the seller said it was and more. I've heard of Samson signed blades, seen pictures of factory latchless knives, seen the titanium handles as a $1000 option, seen the ATS34 listed as an optional steel, seen pictures of the optional steel type etched on the blade, but, I'VE NEVER SEEN ALL OF THESE THINGS ON ONE KNIFE!!! I think the pictures tell the whole story; the knife was/is for real and now it's all mine!:D:D:D

The knife broke down like this in 1990:
 • Titanium handles-$1000
 • Anodizing-$200
 • ATS34 blade steel-$50
 • 4" WeeHawk custom latchless Bali-Song-$325
This was what the knife sold for 11 years ago; what would YOU WANT FOR IT if you'd paid $1575?!?!? What would YOU PAY for a knife that sold for $1575?!?!?!? Inquiring minds want to know.........;)

What's with the handle color, is it me or is it anodized or something?
The anodizing is a beautiful powder blue. The pictures can't come close to doing justice to this knife. The picture with Jody's signature shows the handles closest to the actual color. Any oils from my hands, when handling it, cause the colors to change to a kind of lavender or light purple.......:)

Shite that's beautiful, even though it is a weehawk blade :(
I have a great idea to what Dawkind payed for it, I just did a little search and took a stroll down memory lane to when the gentleman put it up for sale. Very sweet Dawkind! Very nice find!! :)

Sweeeeeeet!

How aboout sending that baby my way and I'll make a sheath for it.:D

I promise I won't keep it long..... and I won't flip it..... much.

WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!

that's INCREDIBLE!
I think the polished counter-sunk holes really adds a whole new dimension to the beauty of it

Oh My God!!!! What a beauty. Would love to see it up close. Have you flipped it yet? I bet it feels great holding it. Very nice piece. That is sooooooooooooooooooo very beautiful.
