Nano Fusion handles are amazing...I'd buy at least a couple of any new models...I've been asking for a NFMistress since the Nano Fusion inception:

I like the flat spine of the ASH1, ASH2 and NFNO. Not a big fan of the dip on the spine of SFNO.

I am not either, though I believe I understand why it was put there. My thought is that it's meant for choking up into the choil to help reduce the span of your thumb around the spine. It seems that what it truly does is makes it more likely that the point created by the cutout will actually dig into your hand. Just going off memory from when I had one many years ago. It was a model I really wanted to like but never warmed to it. The handle contouring was also very round and bulbous and I was not a fan of that personally.
