This is pre owned,very excellent condition. It is a massive "take down" style bowie. 15-1/8" OAL ,blade measures 9.5" with a 9" cutting edge. The blade is 1/4" thick by the guard.Comes with Tool,heavy leather sheath by maker & cordura type storage case.

Ebony and Wrought Iron Bowie
I forged this 9 1/2" Bowie from my 1" square 5160 made in 1984. The hand-shaped and etched Wrought Iron fittings are from a structure built in 1903.
I had the block of Ebony here in my shop for quite a while and finally decided to put it to use! I hand-sanded the material to a full 1500 grit finish and then gave it a quick polish that is almost like glass!
The balance point on this knife is at the Maker's Mark.
Very nice package overall.
