Hi Guys,

Bought my first Kizer knife on a local FB group second hand. Is this a possible fake? I had a look at the blade markings and the sharpening choil size and it differs from most pictures on the net. Everything else is identical, the screw sizes and placements, pocket clip position as well as amount of jimping. Luvthemknives made a video 7 years ago with this knife that is identical to the one I have (also got it on a trade) and came in a cream color box. It feels legit and very smooth. I need the experts to give me input on this one. Maybe I got one of the very first production runs?

This is my knife:

And then there is another varient with jimping on the flipper tab and different pocket clip

Kizer makes lots of changes to their knives and cqi improvements without really saying anything. I wouldn't think it's fake.

Thanks. I also looked at YouTube vids on this knife from 6 years ago and there was a guy in the comments also saying his knife (same as mine) had minor differences than the one in the video.

Six years ago was like the high water mark for Kizer making cqi changes, I have an Activ Bantam, a model that was in production from their earlier years on the US scene until not too long before the current period, and that thing had like three differences between how it was built and the photos for the listing. All small improvements (except the pivot, I like the conical but I also liked the swirly)
