Longish term review: Spyderco DLC Manix2 with 11 year update

Thanks for posting. It’s great to see a knife being actually used and carried long term. Even more amazing to see it posted 11 years on. That’s awesome!

Wanted to mention - that Ti you “grabbed” randomly - looks like a whole lot of scales and a few bolsters cut out of it. What’s goin’ on there?….

I make some as a hobby. Only made around 50 since 2015.

That piece is from the recent water jet. Just got blades back from heat treatment actually and busy with experimenting getting a mirror finish on M390 at 63HRC. Needed to go diamond compound route.

Great review and thread! I enjoy my lw in Maxamet, though I don't run her nearly as hard as you!
