Trying all the usual suspects around the web and no one seems interested in making the initial run for my new release of blades
Specs:
San Mai steel with a 1095 or O1 or D2 core. maybe 3/32-1/8" thick, prefer thinner
Billet finished at 1/4" thick x 4" wide and whatever length 24" maybe???
Need five of these Clad in the makers steel of choice from Wrought iron, SS, Damascus maybe a thin layer if n1520 in between for contrast and a wrap of ???
Need to wind up with at least enough steel to make 10 hidden tangs with guards and pommels (Toss in a bit for Knifemaker error) with 5.5" blade x 1 1/4 wide and 3" tang 3/4" wide ground reasonably flat and annealed. Voids and delams get returned
Blacksmith gets choice of steel within reason.
No jerking around willing to pay a fair price for quality workmanship, have some premium quality Ivory to trade as well as cash
San Mai Maker receives full credit for the steel provided Future orders for quality product.
Email with examples, quotes, pmt terms and lead time
Call anytime with questions: 480-tw9zero 9two3nine
Thanks
Robert
