Looking for these rivets... any clue?

I like this sheath - and I am not sure where to find rivets this long. Looks like 6 ounce leather and five layers - anything that long that you know of?



By the way - if this is any ones sheath - I like it - and am just wondering how to make one myself.

I would look at the old cutlery press rivets to see if they would work. They come in brass ad nickel silver or at least used to.

Sears sells copper rivets that would probably be long enough. I don't know if there are any near you, but my local Ace Hardware has the rivets too.

Mmmm, I like that one, too, TF! Do you reckon the rivets/loops would loosen up as time went by?
