This one was a second carry for a trip to the electrophysiologist's office for my 2 week follow-up to my cardiac procedure for Day 10 of the All Micarta Revue.
You'll note what look like four uniform fingerprints along the blade edge in the pic below and a little more lightly above.. They exactly correspond to the four skeletonizing holes in the liners and might be the result of differences in oxidation or moisture caused by greater or lesser proximity to the blade as the knife has sat untouched in a drawer with a few other slip joints for over a year. Maybe outgassing from the Micarta? They did wipe out easily enough after running my fingers over the blade and then buffing with a Terry towel.

. I know I've got enough for two more, but will have to physically scroll through the accumulation to see if I can make a full two weeks' worth.

Well, I missed posting yesterday due to the winter storm that came through and a very full day of youth b-ball games and admin. I fell one day short of two weeks for my Micarta Madness Marathon with only 13 such knives in my accumulation, but I'll cheat a little and go two days in a row to finish up with my nat Micarta clad Kapara with scales from Ripp's Garage Tech.
