Good morning fine folks! I hope y’all’s weeks went smoother than things round here. Lol.
This is my first attempt at a flush joint folder. A very challenging build. The angles of the tangs and the front of the springs have to be perfect. It was a fun learning process with this one.
As for the specs. This blade is 4” closed, 7 3/8” open.
The frame and bolsters are integral to one another and made from 416 stainless steel. The liner portions are jeweled.
The blades are CPM MagnaCut that has been heat treated and cryogenically treated to a stout 63.5-64 RC.
The covers are whiskey barrel dyed, stag style jig bone. The arrow head shield has been pinned into the frame.
This blade is flush in all three positions, and ready to be put to work.
