Well, everyone knows what Ethan looks like - (except me some 10 years ago or so...) I came late to the party.
I was at a gun show talking with a favored knife vendor and started talking about Beckers (unbeknownst to me - Ethan was standing with him right in front of me)... I'd never Googled/seen a photo of him at that time.
They both explained that Ethan was Ethan. I was in "What'choo talkin' 'bout Willis"- mode. Ethan even pointed to his shirt with BK&T logo/lanyard ID, etc.
I think we started talking about The Joy of Cooking - which is what convinced me... Once I understood, I went ON and ON about how much I liked my BK-9 (only Becker I had at that time)... I was telling everybody "it's like going to a gun show and running into Samuel Colt!"
I know I said something to him like "if you're ever feeling down, all you've got to do is read the Becker reviews on Amazon!"
True enough - I think it's safe to say that we're pleased!
