More than a knife

Whenever I get a case of "the Mondays"... (and I know it's Tuesday, but bear with me)

Anyways.
Whenever I get the blues for one reason or another, I grab one of the knives in my office and I look at it from one side or the other and I think.
This one here has been with me for more than a decade now, it is a beloved tool that has been at my side through thick and thin.
It was made halfway across the world by a true artisan.
It is a marvel of skill, craftsmanship, generational knowledge and hard work.
It is, simply put, humbling.
More than that, it is inspiring.

While I will most certainly never come anywhere close to be this good at making a knife, I can certainly work hard at the things I do best.
Sometimes I need to cut something, sometimes I just need a reminder that greatness can be achieved when you put your mind and hard work to it, whatever that might be. And these knives can do both just as easily.

A knife so sharp it cuts through blues, imagine that.
Have a nice week y'all.

Love,
